Vijayawada: CPM State secretary P Madhu here on Tuesday asked for the dismissal of Venkatagiri MLA Rama Krishna Reddy for seeking bribe and threatening a contractor.
In a statement, Madhu quoted media reports where the legislator was seen threatening a railway contractor and seeking Rs 5 crore bribe.
He said that the legislator was caught on the video cameras threatening the contractor. He wanted the government to act immediately and dismiss the legislator from the Assembly. The CPM leader wanted Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to take up the issue seriously and keep a check on the erring and corrupt leaders.
