7 Hills Marathon on October 23
As many as 3000 participants have registered so far for the `7Hills Marathon’ to be held here on October 23.
Tirupati: As many as 3000 participants have registered so far for the `7Hills Marathon’ to be held here on October 23.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would be the chief guest during the marathon which is being jointly organised by NGO Disease
Eradication through Education and Prevention (DEEP), the district administration and the Tirupati Urban Police, to spread awareness
about health-related activities and motivate people to adopt healthier lifestyles.
This is the first-ever mega marathon being held in the sacred city of Tirupati and organisers expect the number of participants to go up to
at least 7,500. The marathon will be held in the categories of 21.1Kms (Half-Marathon), 10 K, 5K, and 3K.
Murali Nannapaneni will be the race director while noted social activist and philanthropist R Sudharani would be the medical partner for
the event.
