The receipt of cash to the tune of Rs 85 crore from RBI on Tuesday is expected to improve cash crunch situation across various banks in the district.
Kakinada : The receipt of cash to the tune of Rs 85 crore from RBI on Tuesday is expected to improve cash crunch situation across various banks in the district.
According to lead bank authorities, of the Rs 85 crore disbursed to East Godavari district, Rs 5 crore was in the form of Rs 500 notes and the rest were Rs 2,000 notes.
In the last few days except for SBI and new generation banks, the remaining banks have not been feeding cash into their respective ATMs due to shortage of funds.
