Nellore: Tirupati-bound Krishna Express was delayed at Padugupadu on Sunday evening as smoke emanated from gas compressor close to wheels. Passengers, who observed smoke billowing from the wheels at Talamanchi station informed the railway staff.

Frightened passengers got down the train and tried to catch buses to reach their places. However, engineering staff resolved the problem and the train left to Tirupati.
