Atmakur (Kurnool): “Vishwa Hindu Parishad has no hatred for any religion; it respects the principles of other religions and moreover it also strives hard to preserve the Hindu culture and tradition,” said VHP State president Sai Reddy here on Tuesday.

In an executive committee meeting held at Atmakur, the VHP leader said that it is a saddening truth that the youth of the country are ignoring the Indian culture and are lured by the western culture.

It is the custom of the pilgrims to reach Srisailam temple on foot through the Nallamala forests every year. The VHP members expressed anguish over the Forest department’s objection to travel through the forest.

He assured the pilgrims that the VHP would help them to continue their journey. They demanded that the Forest department and PCCF should give permission for the pilgrims to travel through the forest.

“VHP is creating a mark in 103 countries with its principles and reforms thereby preserving the Hindu tradition and culture,” said Balaram Rathod, Vasudeva Reddy and Naga Suresh Babu, members of VHP, Atmakur.
