DGP Sambasiva Rao denies bias in YSRCP MLA Roja's arrest

YSR Congress MLA Roja has been arrested by the Andhra Police on Saturday creating a furore among the party with leaders protesting the arrest.

The YSRCP leaders approached AP Director General of Police Sambasiva Rao, questioning Roja's arrest. After interacting with the DGP informed that they had received 'Intelligence Inputs' for detaining the YSRCP MLA further stating that the action was taken in order to prevent any untoward incident.

DGP Rao even admitted that Roja was prevented from attending the National Women's Parliament being held in Amaravati, however, said that there were no biases in the arrest made.
