Amaravati: Blockbuster filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s ‘Eega’ bagged the best film award along with many other prizes while hero Nani and Samantha have been selected as best actor and actress awards for 2012 Nandi awards. Similarly, ‘Mirchi’ featuring Prabhas bagged the best film award for 2013.
Incidentally, Prabhas has been selected as best actor. Anushka as the best actress for 2013 Nandi awards. The state government on Wednesday announced Nandi Film awards for 2012 and 2013 in Vijayawada. Jury chairpersons actor Jayasudha and film director Kodi Ramakrishna for 2012 and 2013 respectively released the list of award winners.Nani and Samantha bagged the best award for their performance in ‘Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu’.
‘Minugurulu’ and ‘Mithunam’ stood as second and third best films respectively. Top Telugu director SS Rajamouli was selected as best director and best screenplay for his ‘Eega’ movie and Sai Korrapati has been selected for best producer award.
Krishnamsetty Ayodhya Kumar bagged best ace director award for ‘Minugurulu’. Ilayaraja and MM Keeravani were selected as best music directors for Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu and Eega. Shankar Mahadevan and Geeta Madhuri are the best play back singers.
Film ‘Ishq’ has been honoured as the best home viewing feature movie and ‘Julai’ was selected as best popular feature film. Actor Raghu Babu would be given Allu Ramalingaiah award for best comedy and Asish Vidyardhi would be honoured with SV Ranga Rao best charector award while Syamala Devi and Ajay have been selected for best supporting role awards.
Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao has been selected as best editor for ‘Eega’ and S Ramakrishna was selected as best art director for ‘Andhala Rakshasi’ and Jaani is the best dance master for ‘Julai’. Thanikella Bharani and Ananth Sriram are best dialogue and lyric writers. KK Senthil Kumar is best cinematographer and Kuchi Sudeep is the best villain. In all, ‘Eega’ bagged eight awards.
Similarly, hero Prabhas has been selected as best actor and Anushka as the best actress for the 2013 year awards. ‘Mirchi’ got best film award. ‘Mirchi’ director Koratla Siva has been selected as first best film director.
‘Naa Bangaru Talli’ and ‘Uyyala Jampala’ were announced as second and third best films respectively.
‘Alias Janaki’ film director Daya Kodavaganti has been selected as the best film director award and Anjali Patil was selected for best leading actress award for ‘Naa Bangaaru Talli’. Interestingly, Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh starrer ‘Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ has been selected for the best home viewing feature film and hero Pawan Kalyan's ‘Attarintiki Daaredi’ was selected for the best popular film award. Similarly, ‘Alias Janaki’ would be honoured with Sarojini Naidu award for best feature film award on national integration.
Actor Prakash Raj and Nadiya were announced for the best supporting actor and actress for ‘Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ and Nadiya for ‘Attarintiki Daaredi’. Sampat Raj is the best villain for ‘Mirchi’ movie.
Music director Devisri Prasad and Screenwriter Trivikram Srinivas have been selected as best music director and dialogue writer for ‘Attarintiki Daaredi’.
Actor Naresh and Taagubothu Ramesh were selected for SV Ranga Rao and Allu Ramalingaiah awards. Bharata Keerti Murthulu has been selected for the best national integrity movie in the documentary category.
