Visakhapatnam: Visakha District Council President of All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) B Ch Masen demanded that the state government issue a fresh GO amending the payment of minimum wages as Rs 18,000 per month considering the growing prices of essential commodities in view.

The district council staged a protest in front of the Regional Labour Commissioner Office here on Friday demanding a hike in minimum wages.
