Ministers visit Duggirala Yard 

Guntur: Minister for Civil Supplies Prathipati Pulla Rao directed the officials to speed up turmeric purchases for the convenience of the farmers. He visited Duggirala Agriculture Marketing Yard along with minister for Social Welfare Nakka Anand Babu and interacted with farmers.

The yard officials explained steps taken to speed up turmeric purchases in the yard Pulla Rao assured that the government will purchase all turmeric stocks from the farmers. He said the aim of the government is to extend helping hand to the farmers, that is why the government is purchasing turmeric through Markfed and urged the farmers avail the facility provided by the government and benefit.
