Tirupati: Yadava Association leaders have decided to intensify stir against the state government as it failed to address their long pending demands. To mobilise Yadavas, leaders have decided to launch 'Yadava Sankharava Ratha Yatra’ in Tirupati on June 4.

They will organise public meetings at Srikalahasti, Nagari, Chittoor and Punganur in the district besides conducting meetings at several other places during the six-day campaign in the district which will end at Madanapalle on June 9. The Ratha Yatra will continue in the other three districts-- Anantapur, Kadapa and Kurnool--of Rayalaseema during the 45 days schedule.
The leaders of the association, Anna Ramachandra Yadav and Ashok Samrat Yadav among others held a media conference in Tirupation on Monday to announce their plan of action.

They are seeking a corporation for Yadavas with Rs 1,000 crore fund. Keeping in view the Yadava population, which is one of the dominating among the OBCs, a corporation is the need of the hour, they said. The leaders stated that Yadavas were inseparable part of famed Tirumala Temple since ages and are part and parcel of the tradition also. But they said, they never got their due from the government and now demanding the chairmanship of the TTD Trust Board.

They also sought the nominated posts for Yadavas at the centre and the state and Assembly tickets from all parties based on the population. They demanded the government to allocate 10 acres for construction of Yadava Bhavan at Amaravati. They are also sought 2 acres land for Yadava hostel in each district.
