Equitas Bank new branch opened

Vijayawada: Banks play a key role in society as they strive for the economic uplift of the people, said Krishna Group of Companies Chairman Y Krishna Murthy at the inaugural function of Equitas Small Finance Bank at Vishalandra Road here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that saving culture was growing in people and banks help them with their banking and ATM services, he added.Equitas Bank branch manager R Arun Kumar said that the bank was recognised by Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
He said that initially Equitas was started as micro finance organisation in 2007, later it had expanded its operations into business loans and house loans division. He said that the bank has 412 branches across the country. He said that the second branch was inaugurated in the city, he added.Equitas Andhra Pradesh regional manager B Satish Chandra, territory manager Y Janardhan Rayudu, MG Road branch manager Phanindra and others were present.
