Tirupati: The Lord Govindaraja Swamy was taken out in a grand procession on ‘Chinna Sesha Vahanam' around the holy mada' streets encircling the holy shrine on Thursday, as part of the on-going annual Brahmotsavams. Later, the rituals such as Snapana Tirumanjanam (celestial bath) and Unjal Seva amidst chanting of hymns from scriptures by Vedic pundits were held in the shrine to mark the second day of the annual Brahmotsavams. Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy of Tirumala Mutt, Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Deputy EO Varalakshmi, Executive Engineer Jagadeeswara Reddy and others were present.
