Sachin’s documentary screened in Nellore
District administration arranged screening of ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’, a documentary on Sachin Tendulkar, at S-2 theatre, here on Thursday. Collector R Mutyala Raju, who organised the screening, explained that they spent Rs 5.69 crore for development works in PR Kandrika with the support of Sachin and also Rs 3.05 crore in Gollapalli in Nernuru villages in the same panchayat. Gudur MLA P Sunil Kumar said they were taking up development works with Rs 9 crore in PR Kandriga, Nernuru and Gollapalli villages with the financial assistance provided by the Master Blaster through MP LAD funds. Joint Collector A Md Imtiaz said they had organised a job mela in the village recently and provided employment to around 115 people.
