The Anti Corruption Bureau sleuths caught the District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) Menakshi Mahadev red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 from a nursing home organiser at her residence here on Friday. The ACB DSP Jayaram Raju said Dr B Srinivasulu is running a nursing home in Adoni town. He has applied for renewal of license for the nursing home.

Simultaneously, he sought permission for sanctioning of a new scanning centre for his nursing home, the DSP stated. The DMHO demanded Srinivasulu to pay Rs 30,000 as bribe to get nursing home renewal and permission for scanning centre. The victim approached the ACB and informed about the DMHO. The ACB registered a case.
