Government allocates Rupees 1,000 crore to NTR Vaidya Seva Trust

Minister for Medical and Health Kamineni Srinivas lauded NTR Vaidya Trust for rendering medical services to the poor. Taking this into consideration, the government has allocated Rs1,000 crore to NTR Vaidya Seva Trust, he said. He inaugurated NTR Vaidya Seva Trust Office, Director General Drugs Administration and AP Pharmacy Council offices at Chuttugunta Centre in the city on Friday.

Guntur: Minister for Medical and Health Kamineni Srinivas lauded NTR Vaidya Trust for rendering medical services to the poor. Taking this into consideration, the government has allocated Rs1,000 crore to NTR Vaidya Seva Trust, he said.
He inaugurated NTR Vaidya Seva Trust Office, Director General Drugs Administration and AP Pharmacy Council offices at Chuttugunta Centre in the city on Friday.

Later, he inaugurated online donations receiving system at NTR Vaidya Seva Trust office. He visited various wings in the offices and the officials introduced themselves to the minister. The Minister said that donors ready to donate for the welfare of the poor, but they have doubts, whether donations given by them would reach the needy or not.


He said donations given to NTR Vaidya Trust will be exempted from income tax and urged the donors to come forward and donate to NTR Vaidya Seva Turst. He announced that he will donate Rs1 lakh to NTR Vaidya Trust from his salary. He further stated that the government would reimburse the medical bills of government employees and clear the pending bills.
