Bhimavaram: Police on Thursday arrested three persons in connection with the case of social boycott enforced allegedly by upper-caste people at Garagaparru village of Palakoderumandal in West Godavari district.
District SP M Ravi Prakash said that three persons identified as Indukuri Balaramakrishnamraju, Mudunuri Ramaraju and K Srinivas were found to be responsible for the caste strife in the village in police investigations.
The police registered a case against the three accused. The SP further stated that the police are taking all necessary steps to maintain peace in the village.
