The police said woman was in the age group of 25 and 28 years and body found half-a-kilometre away from Boodanam Toll Plaza on the national highway. A voter identity card was found near the body but the address is not visible, an ICICI bank insurance policy papers which are not relevant to her and a railway ticket to go to West Bengal.
Clues team collected samples and dog squad was also deployed. “We didn’t find an identity of the woman and the dead body was sent to Gudur Area Hospital for post-mortem,” said Gudur Circle Inspector M Rathaiah. There is an aqua processing plant and a tiles manufacturing unit within 5 km radius from where the dead body was found. Majority of the workers in these firms are employed from other states of the country.
