Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan on Monday visited the AP Secretariat to meet Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

They held discussions regarding the Uddanam kidney victims and Pawan Kalyan demanded action to be taken for the complete eradication of the problem in the district.

Sources reveal that this is the first time Pawan Kalyan visited the Secretariat after the completion of construction. Pawan Kalyan along with the Harvard doctors team discussed on the prevention of kidney problems in Uddanam. AP health minister Kamineni Srinivas also took part in discussions.

The Harvard team of doctors have drawn on the conclusion with the root cause behind the kidney problems in Uddanam to be ground water pollution.

The government has already provided water cleaning plants in the region and made an announcement of Rs 2,500 pension to each kidney patient.
