State-level inter-varsity sports meet kicks off
A two-day state-level inter university non-teaching employees’ volleyball and cricket sports meet kicked off in a colourful manner here on Sunday at SV University stadium.
Tirupati: A two-day state-level inter university non-teaching employees’ volleyball and cricket sports meet kicked off in a colourful manner here on Sunday at SV University stadium.
SV University Rector Macha Bhaskar and Registrar Prof Devarajula Naidu jointly inaugurated the tournament here. In total 8 university employees’ teams are participating in the tournament.
Addressing the sportsmen at stadium, Rector Macha Bhaskar said that playing of sports will help to maintain fitness.
Registrar Devarajula Naidu said that the sports tournament would improve the good relations between university employees and useful to exchange the views among varsity staff
The two-day tournament will conclude on July 31. SVU non-teaching employees’ union president PK Subaramanyam, secretary G Sridhar, leaders ManojKumar and Ramesh were present.
