HPCL holds competition on cleanliness
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Visakh Refinery, as part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, organised various competitions, including essay writing, elocution and painting to the schoolchildren, on cleanliness of surroundings and its implication on health and hygiene The Chief General Manager-Technical, HPCL-Visakh Refinery, Y Sriramulu, presented awards to the school children at Kendriya Vidyala,
Visakhapatnam: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Visakh Refinery, as part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, organised various competitions, including essay writing, elocution and painting to the schoolchildren, on cleanliness of surroundings and its implication on health and hygiene The Chief General Manager-Technical, HPCL-Visakh Refinery, Y Sriramulu, presented awards to the school children at Kendriya Vidyala, Malkapuram and Zilla Parishad High School, Gajuwaka.
He also administered pledge to the schoolchildren and staff on Swachh Bharat. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasised that HPCL has taken various initiatives under Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Later, he distributed cloth bags to the schoolchildren and staff of both the schools to spread the message of zero plastic usage.
Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya and the head master Zilla Parishad High School appreciated the initiatives taken up by the HPCL for the various activities in promoting awareness on Swachh Bharat.Deputy General Manager-HR Komakula Appa Tao and Chief Manager-PR HPCL US Sarmaf were present.
