Speaking to media persons in Vijayawada on Saturday, the minister said as per Peoples Representation Act of the constitution, instigating people for violence is an offence. He said that the Telugu Desam party would lodge a complaint to the Election Commission, if the EC does not take the case as suo moto.

The minister alleged that the YSR Congress party leaders are trying to stall the ongoing development works including irrigation projects by filing petition in courts and green tribunal.

He said that the state government completed the Pattiseema lift irrigation scheme and protected the crops in Krishna delta by lifting Godavari water.
