Xth Class boy dies in schoolmates attack
Three students all below 15 years, studying in GVMC School, Madhuranagar in the city, were taken into custody by the police on Sunday. The three students attacked Class X student S Chinna, who is also studying in the same school on Saturday, died on Sunday while undergoing treatment in a corporate hospital.

According to sources, Chinna and another Class VIII student of the same school had a dispute on a petty issue for the past several days. The both had heated arguments and also fighting. On Saturday, Chinna went to the VIII class and again argued with the accused.
Later, the Class VIII student informed his relative about the incident. In the lunch sessions, when Chinna is moving to home, the accused student, along with his relative and other two students, reportedly attacked Chinna and the victim collapsed on the road. Locals, who witnessed him, shifted to a hospital. As his condition turned worse, he was shifted to a corporate hospital in the late night, but he died on Sunday morning.
Responding on the issue, Commisosiner of GVMC M Hari Narayanan said in a statement that the incident was not held on the school premises. As the head master was on leave, the in-charge head master, who was engaged in the vaccination and mid-day-meal programme in the school, was not aware about the incident. Further investigation is on.
