Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabam is all set to take a decision on the future course of action regarding his Padayatra - 'Chalo Amaravati' shortly after holding discussions with the Kapu leaders from all the districts in Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to the media on Monday at his residence in Kirlampudi, he questioned the TDP government for not implementing the promises made to the Kapu community.
Mudragada along with his followers were stopped on Sunday at Veeravaram in Kirlampudi mandal by the police after he started for his padayatra from his residence. The Kapu leader was further shifted to the police station.
Pointing out that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had not sought permission when he staged a dharna at Bhabali project, he also slammed the CM for wasting time in speeches regarding the Pattiseema and Purushottapatnam lift irrigation schemes.
Mudragada even questioned as to why the Kapu leaders were constantly being restricted from taking up protests while other political parties are not. He added that the TDP won the Nandyal bypoll by misusing power and distributing money to the voters.
