Drainage and CC roads in rural areas soon
Andhra Pradesh Labour and Employment Minister Pithani Satyanarayana said that the state government has chalked out a comprehensive plan to construct drainage and CC roads in the rural areas in future.
Eluru: Andhra Pradesh Labour and Employment Minister Pithani Satyanarayana said that the state government has chalked out a comprehensive plan to construct drainage and CC roads in the rural areas in future.
He laid the foundation stone for the construction of underground drainage system in AchantaVemavaram village in Achantamandal on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that in a phased manner all the roads in the rural areas will be constructed as CC roads. He said that all government welfare schemes would be implemented for the eligible persons and housing construction would also be taken up in the rural areas.
Later he laid the foundation stone for the construction of playgrounds at the ZP High School in the village. Achanta Agriculture Marketing Committee Chairman Uppalapati Suresh Babu, Mandal President MekaPadmakumari, Sarpanch KanasalaBuli Venkata Satya Svarna Kumari and others participated in the programme.
