Construction of the High Court, Assembly and Secretariat buildings in Amaravati will soon commence, announced Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on his arrival to the state from his nine-day three-nation foreign tour, on Friday.

Naidu stated that designs for construction of Administrative city by London-based Foster and Partners were completed and final designs will be presented soon.
During his first meeting after returning from foreign tour, the Chief Minister stated that he was honoured with the Golden Peacock Award because of support extended by officials. He said that despite his jet lag, he remains motivated to continue the efforts of the government.
The Chief Minister has directed the officials to take students in schools and colleges for a study tour to visit selected ODF declared villages to create awareness among them. Focus more on rural areas, and strive to continue the success of ODF programme, he directed.
The state has already declared all the 110 urban areas as ODF; 4,706 gram panchayats and 3 districts are also declared ODF. The state has achieved 61.35 per cent of the target so far, explained officials.
Meanwhile, Babu A, CEO, Real Time Governance, and VC & MD of APIICL explained that RTG training has been given to the staff in 20 departments so far.
A Business Intelligence tool was launched for all HODs, to monitor the progress of various types of grievances on a real time basis. The grievances are classified as financial/non financial, sanctioned/pending.
Babu explained that, 22,50,667 grievances received so far. East Godavari and Kurnool have reported higher grievances. The overall public satisfaction recorded as 56 per cent which is lower than the levels presented previously.
Chandrababu Naidu appreciated Panchayat Raj Department, held by Minister Nara Lokesh, for securing first position. Nellore, Kurnool, Visakhapatnam and Kadapa have just 52 per cent. In the civil supplies department, Kadapa, Kurnool and Nellore have recorded lower satisfaction levels.
In pension sector, satisfaction recorded as 77 per cent . Kadapa 73 per cent , Kurnool 75 per cent, are in lower ranks and West Godavari is standing in first position, with 81 per cent .
“Ministers and collectors should be very conscious. You need to analyse the data and take necessary action immediately,” he said. Naidu instructed planning department to organise necessary workshops, for collectors and district administrators.
