For convenience of members in the business of Assembly, the Ministers were grouped into two separate groups. From here after, different groups will attend the proceedings in Assembly and Council based on their allotment each day.


Amaravati: For convenience of members in the business of Assembly, the Ministers were grouped into two separate groups. From here after, different groups will attend the proceedings in Assembly and Council based on their allotment each day.

According to the new grouping, the Ministers were mandated to give oral answers, short notice questions, calling attention notices and notices under rule 344 will be posted for answer or making statements and other business in Council and Assembly.

Interestingly, both Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his son, Panchayat Raj Minister Nara Lokesh were grouped in the same team, Group – A. The Legislative Affairs and Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu was included in Group – B.

All the 26 Ministers including the Chief Minister were divided into two groups – Group A and Group B, consisting of 13 for each group.

Home Minister N Chinarajappa, Energy Minister Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao, Forest Minister Sidda Raghava Rao, Water Resources Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, Roads and Buildings Minister Ch Ayyannapatrudu, Transport Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P Narayana, Law and Justice Minister Kollu Ravindra, Labour Minister Pithani Satyanarayana, SC and ST Welfare Minister Nakka Anandababu and Excise Minister K S Jawahar were included in the Group – A along with Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh.

On the other hand, Revenue minister K E Krishna Murthy, Agriculture Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Women Empowerment and Child Welfare Minister Paritala Sunithamma, Civil Supplies Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao, Health and Medical Education Minister Kamineni Srinivas, Human Resource Development Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Information and Public Relations Minister Kalava Srinivasulu, Industries and Commerce Minister N. Amaranatha Reddy, Mines and Geology Minister R V Sujay Krishna Ranga Rao, Endowments Minister Pydikondala Manikyala Rao, Marketing Minister Ch Adi Narayana Reddy and Tourism Minister Akhila Priya were included in Group –B.
