Journos celebrate National Press Day
Journalists from print and electronic media in Chirala, celebrated the National Press Day in a grand manner. They invited the local police to participate in the celebrations and had Two Town Sub-Inspector, Adinarayana cut the cake at the Gadiyara Sthambham center.

The participating journalists said that the media has a unique and important role in the society. Being called as the fourth pillar of the Constitution, the media is playing a pivotal role in the development of the society by bridging the gap between the public and the administration. The journalists called for the unity among all media persons irrespective of the unions and associations. The SI Adinarayana, wished the journalists on Press Day and requested cooperation of media in controlling crime in society.
