Many Nepali traders came to the city for business during this winter season. The Nepalis arrange stalls at Kotipalli bus station, RTC complex, AVA Road and in various places in the city to do business for five months from October to February every year.

The Nepalis sell a variety of sweaters, blankets, caps, mufflers, monkey caps, ear protectors, socks etc, which are popular. Many people purchase them in these stalls because of less cost and the facility to bargaining, which is not allowed in branded shops.
One Nepali trader Kush Ram said that they were coming to Rajamahendravaram from many years and are getting a good response from the people. Customers come to our stalls because of our quality material and moderate prices. About 200 Nepalis come to the city every year because of good response from the people, he added.
