Union Minister assures completion of Polavaram

Andhra Pradesh Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma Maheshwara Rao said union Water Resources minister Nitin Gadkari assured the completion of Polavaram project. The union minister will also visit the project soon.
Participating in celebrations conducted on the eve of 60 years of Prakasham Barrage in Vijayawada, the minister said the government is planning to construct another barrage at Vaikuntapuram in River Krishna.
The existing barrage will exist for 60 more years, Uma said.
