Vijayawada: A case has been registered against Kosaraju Venkateswara Rao, chairman of the defunct Krushi Bank, and his brother Venugopal after their parents filed a case against them alleging that their two sons physically assaulted them over ancestral property.

Venkateswara Rao, who was one of the most wanted e-criminals, had duped his customers by offering hefty interests. After squandering the money, he flew to the United Kingdom along with his wife. After he failed to get a permanent residence status there, he shifted to Thailand. In 2005, he was arrested by the Andhra Pradesh police through Interpol alert and subsequently, he was brought to the country.

On Friday, his father Kosaraju Jaisimha, mother Baby Sarojini lodged a complaint with Pedparupudi police alleging harassment and assault from their two sons. Registering a case, the police launched investigation.
