To make the youth in the state aware of the situation in all districts thereby increasing their knowledge levels, the state government has embarked a youth exchange programme educational tour. Under this, one district people has to go some other district for their study.

Tirupati: To make the youth in the state aware of the situation in all districts thereby increasing their knowledge levels, the state government has embarked a youth exchange programme educational tour. Under this, one district people has to go some other district for their study.

Accordingly, 150 youth from Guntur, East Godavari and Visakhapatnam districts have reached Tirupati on Thursday with whom SETVEN, Tirupati has organised a meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, SETVEN CEO S Lakshmi has said that, the motive behind this exercise was to make the students aware of the tradition and culture in other parts of the state, various types of handicrafts, life style, renowned pilgrim centres, agriculture methods and industries among other things. They will be educated at field-level during this programme.

The students went to see Gajulamandyam industrial corridor, Tirupati International Airport, Srikalahasti temple, Kalamkari works in Srikalahasti, wood carvings in Madhavamala on the first day. On Friday, they will visit Sreenivasa Mangapuram, smart village of Deendarpalli in Chinna Gottigallu mandal, Farm pond in Aravavandlapalli of Pulicherla mandal, and Chandragiri fort.

On the concluding day, after visiting Puligundu and Kanipakam temple they will meet Collector PS Pradyumna for an interaction and later proceed for Lord Venkateswara darshan. A guide will accompany them during the entire programme.
