Quiz to create awareness about IT
Computer Society of India, Visakhapatnam Chapter, conducted Wizkid Quiz-2018 competition at Ukku Club, Ukkunagaram, to create IT awareness among the schoolchildren from Class VIII to X.
Visakhapatnam: Computer Society of India, Visakhapatnam Chapter, conducted Wizkid Quiz-2018 competition at Ukku Club, Ukkunagaram, to create IT awareness among the schoolchildren from Class VIII to X.
The Director (Commercial), RINL and Chairman, CSI, Visakhapatnam Chapter, Prabir Raychaudhury, inaugurated the programme. Later, he interacted with the students and called upon them to utilise the platform to explore their inner skills.
As many as 145 teams (each team consisting of three students) from 27 different schools in and around Visakhapatnam participated in the quiz. The quiz was conducted in three phases. The first phase is preliminary with written test.
Top 12 teams were selected for second phase. Two semi-finals were conducted with six teams each. Three teams from each semi-final short-listed for final phase of the competition. In the finals, six teams participated and the quiz master announced three prizes winners, first and second runner ups. General Manager of (IT) RINL KVSS Rajeswara Rao and DGM (IT) Suman Das distributed cash awards and prizes to the winning teams.
