Rajamahendravaram: YSR Congress Party MP YV Subba Reddy said that the party MPs will resign on the last working day of Parliament as was stated by party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy. The party is committed to protect the interests of the state and has been fighting for Special Category Status for the past four years, he said.
Another YSRCP leader Dharmana Prasada Rao claims that the people are behind his party chief Jaganmohan Reddy
Speaking to reporters in the party office here on Saturday evening, the MP has said YSRCP gave no-confidence motion on BJP government and asked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for his support who had given assurance to support and later took U turn. As an alliance party of NDA, Naidu was silent for the last four years for his own interests by mortgaging the interests of the state, Subba Reddy blamed.
Because of the mounting pressure from the people, now the Chief Minister took the slogan of SCS and seeking the co-operation of all parties in this regard. Chandrababu cheated the people with regard to SCS and bowed before BJP government, Subba Reddy alleged. The entire country knows about the injustice done to Andhra Pradesh through no-confidence motion and Chief Minister had failed to mount pressure on BJP government.
YSRCP leader Dharmana Prasada Rao said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu failed as leader of the state and because of it YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy took the position and fighting for the interests of the state. Chandrababu Naidu will not come to power again as the entire state is behind YSRCP chief, Rao said.
YSRCP will extend its support to any party who gives SCS to the state. During Chandrababu Naidu's rule the liabilities are increasing in the state instead of assets, Prasada Rao flayed. YSRCP leaders CHV Gopal, K Durgesh, K Venu Gopal, K Kanna Babu, JV Lakshmi, RSP Rao and others were present.
