Delivering the inaugural address, the Vice Chancellor of SVYASA Yoga University, Bengaluru Prof Ramachandra Bhat remarked that people are once again thinking of becoming a Sastraitic Scholar because our culture and traditions are slowly vanishing. With these type of camps one will get success in all endeavours and they will nourish Sastras.

RSVP Vice-Chancellor Prof V Muralidhara Sharma appealed to the Sanskrit students that they should take the opportunity to enlighten the hidden knowledge of Sanskrit Sastras, so that one should think that only Sanskrit will give solutions to the problems of society.

The Guest of Honour Mahamahopadhyaya Dr Ch Purnananda Sastry spoke in a lucid manner that now a days, students should come forward to preserve Shastras and such type of camps will enrich their hidden knowledge. A Sanskrit student invariably should have a thorough knowledge in Vyakarana (Grammar), which is foundation for the language, he said.

On this occasion, the book on Nyaya Sastra, “Panchalakshani", with explanatory note by Mahamahopadhya NS Ramanuja Tatacharya, which was reprinted by Vidyapeetha, was released. The programme had a welcome note by Coordinator of the camp Prof O S Ramlal Sarma.
