Rajamahendravaram: Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) former chairman Srighakollapu Sivarama Subramanyam will join in YSRCP within a week. In fact, he wanted to join in the party one year ago, but it was delayed due to various reasons.
Speaking to reporters at a hotel here on Monday, he said that discussions were held with YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy and without any conditions he would be joining the party.
“Aspiring MLA ticket is not wrong in politics and the decision of party president is final in this regard and as a disciplined leader everyone should obey the orders of the party president. I am an aspirant for MLA ticket since 1999 and because of party directions it was not materialised,” he said.
He informed the press that on the directions of the party, he had worked in Nandyal Assembly by-election. “I also held Arya Vysya Samaja meeting and also extended services in Kakinada Municipal Corporation elections,” he said.
He further added that he was joining the party with an aim to make YS Jaganmoahan Reddy Chief Minister. Friends, supporters and well wishers also supported his decision to join in YSRCP, he told.
Replying to a question, he said former Chief Minister Konejeti Rosaiah is god to him and his blessings always with him. As district youth Congress president and PCC secretary, he had good rapport with all sections in the district, he claimed.
“The people of all sections are not happy with this government and anti-people policies of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu diluted all systems,” he added. Corporator N Ramana and others were present.
