E-Transport permit system deferred
Agriculture Market Department postponed implementation of E-Transport Permit System in the state following orders of the government. The Agriculture Market Commissioner ISamuel Anand Kumar said that traders are facing some problems in the E-Transport Permit System.
Guntur: Agriculture Market Department postponed implementation of E-Transport Permit System in the state following orders of the government. The Agriculture Market Commissioner ISamuel Anand Kumar said that traders are facing some problems in the E-Transport Permit System.
They will solve technical problems within 10 days and implement the new system. The government aimed to implement the system from July 2 (Monday). However, following instructions of the government, the department postponed the implementation of the new system for market cess payment.
The government directed the Agriculture Market Department to allow transport of agriculture produce for which cess is paid and added that the traders may pay cess till August 31 at the Agriculture Market Committee check- posts.He said that there will be no inconvenience to traders due to new system and added that they will introduce E-Transport and Permit System soon.
