Kadapa: Marketing Minister C Adinarayana Reddy said that state government is keen on providing sophisticated medical facilities in the government hospitals for the benefit of poor and middle classes.

The Minister inaugurated a Dialysis unit at Rayachoti Government Hospital (RGH) in the district on Tuesday. The unit was set up with the cooperation of Apollo Hospital. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, he said he said as many as 14 Dialysis units were established with the cooperation of Apollo hospital at various places in the state.

He said people of Rayachoti were fortunate to have highly sophisticated treatment for kidney problems at free of cost at the Rayachoti Government Hospital as they need not go to corporate hospitals for kidney problems either in Bengaluru or Chennai or in Hyderabad. The Minister said there was possibility of performing Dialysis for as many as 20 kidney patients every day.
