Vasavya Mahila Mandali VMM and Sri Rama Foundation jointly organised a free tailoring training to women and unemployed youth

Vijayawada: Vasavya Mahila Mandali (VMM) and Sri Rama Foundation jointly organised a free tailoring training to women and unemployed youth.

After the successful completion of tailoring course, Usha Sewing School gave certificates to about 30 candidates, according to VMM secretary G Rashmi Samaram here on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Rashmi said that women should also share the financial responsibility for the development of the family. She said by learning these kinds of courses women can extend a helping hand to their families.

Sri Rama Foundation circle head TS Sampath Kumar appreciated the services of the VMM for women empowerment and expressed his happiness to be a part of the training programme.

He said through various skill development training programmes organised by VMM, women were becoming an earning member to support their families financially.

VMM staff, women who underwent tailoring course and screen printing were present.
