Godavari level at Dowleswaram barrage stable

River Godavari has been on spate for the last three days and the water level is stable at Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage with 9 feet on Friday At present, the water level at the barrage is 9 feet and at Bhadrachalam 30 feet 1,000 cusecs of water released to Central deltaand 2,000 cusecs to Western delta
Rajamahendravaram: River Godavari has been on spate for the last three days and the water level is stable at Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage with 9 feet on Friday. At present, the water level at the barrage is 9 feet and at Bhadrachalam 30 feet. 1,000 cusecs of water released to Central delta and 2,000 cusecs to Western delta.
As many as 3.25 lakh cusecs of water is discharged into the sea from Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage and all the 175 gates were lifted in Dowleswaram, Ryali Maddur and Vijjeswaram arms of the barrage. The lanka villages in the downstream of the barrage were alerted as the flood water level at the barrage is expected to increase tonight.
