Amaravati: The Australian company Expert 365 is going to produce compost from vegetable waste in the state by establishing organic waste management plants.

During a review meeting on agriculture sector here on Friday, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the Expert 360 will start pilot project in Vijayawada and Guntur Rythu Bazars on July 18.

About 50 kgs of organic manure could be produced with 300 kgs waste vegetable material. Compost manure producing process will be completed within 31 hours, through this latest technology, delegates from the company explained with Chief Minister.

The organic manure will be available at reasonable price for farmers in the market in the name of “ChandrannaRythuSamrudhi.” Naidu directed the officials to establish Integrated Organic Waste Management plants at all the Rythu Bazaars in the state. Each plant could produce organic manure from two tonnes of vegetable waste.
