Computer Science and Information and Technology departments of NRI Institute of Technology jointly organised a seminar on Normalisation of data using case studies here on Thursday
Vijayawada: Computer Science and Information & Technology departments of NRI Institute of Technology jointly organised a seminar on ‘Normalisation of data using case studies’ here on Thursday.
Dr TS Ravi Kiran, HoD of Computer Science department in PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College participated as the speaker of the seminar.
Dr Ravi Kiran explained the problems with storing of huge volume of data.
He said that by storing huge volume of date, the data would be inconsistent which leads to problems affecting the performance of the software.
He said for the better performance of the software, unwanted data should be removed or deleted. He explained the students by taking up case studies.
He also briefed how the data should be stored using less space.
The college computer science dean KV Sambasiva Rao, chairman Dr R Venkat Rao, secretary K Sridhar, principal Dr C Naga Bhaskar and others were present.
