Vijayawada: The electronics department of Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala organised an awareness programme on ‘Computational Electromagnetic’ on the college premises here on Sunday.
The chief guest of the awareness programme was Dr T Venkateswara Rao of CR Reddy college of Engineering, Eluru.
Speaking on the occasion, he explained how the magnetic waves, sound waves, electrical waves were connected to produce mobile phone signals.
He briefed about the various kinds of antennas and their use to the students.
He further explained about the simulation software through live models and clarified the doubts of the students on various topics on the occasion.
College director Dr T Vijayalakshmi said that the students have to update themselves on the latest and advanced software available on par with the technology to reach their goal in the future.
Principal Dr M Nalini said that these kinds of awareness programmes would improve the students’ technical skills and knowledge.
Electronics HoD JP Kanthi, faculty S Srilakshmi, technician Durga Rani, students and others were present.
