3-day Styles and Weaves expo begins at Vijayawada

Vijayawada: For the Sravana Masam, wedding, festivals and other functions, a three-day ‘Styles and Weaves’ exhibition was inaugurated at Sesha Sai Kalyana Mandapam here on Wednesday.
The expo was organised by Hyderabad based My Identity Events and was inaugurated by Dr Kodali Padma and expo organiser Manjulatha.
Speaking to the media, Manjulatha said the expo was aimed at providing designer garments from all over India to the women for the forthcoming occasions at an affordable price.
The expo was a one stop shop for all the people who were also looking for household items, she informed.
She said as many as 58 stalls were arranged which includes kids wear, one-gram jewellery, Mangalagiri dress material, Kurthis, Tops, Bridal Sarees, work Kashmiri Sarees, fancy sarees and pattu sarees.
Ikath, Uppada, Pochampalli and Venkatagiri fabric material is available in the expo besides household accessories.
She said there was a huge response from the people of Vijayawada when the expo was organised in the past and was expecting the same, she added.
Visitors can visit the expo between 10 am to 9 pm till August 10.
