Guntur: Charging the TDP government with corruption in housing scheme, MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy compared the parameters followed by neighbouring Telangana state.
While Telangana government was spending Rs 900 per unit area for conducting the house, the AP government was spending Rs 1,800 per the same area for constructing houses under the housing scheme, he said.
He addressed a press meet at Macherla in Guntur district on Wednesday.Speaking on this occasion, he said that TDP government hiked this amount to make a fast buck.
He alleged that the PR department was committing irregularities in MNREGS scheme works and CC roads in villages.
He alleged that MLA Yarapatineni Srinivasa Rao had involved in mining scam and reminded that the High Court issued notices to the latter.
He warned that the voters would teach lesson to the TDP government in the coming elections.
