Ongole: The treatment with Radio Frequency Abrasion (RFA) helps the patients recover fast and attend their regular duties, announced the heart disease specialists at the KIMS Hospital in Ongole on Thursday.
The hospital management including its executive director T Giri Naidu and general manager S Narasimha Murthy said that they treated three patients suffering from heart disease on Thursday using the Radio Frequency Abrasion method.
They said that the electro physiologist Dr Hayagrivarao, Dr Sridhar Babu and Dr Harish did the treatment for the patients successfully.
They said that the RFA is introduced for the first time in Ongole and the advance treatment in heart diseases helps the doctors to treat the valves of the heart that were blocking the flow of the blood.
The doctors explained that the advance method saves the patient from dying suddenly and he can attend regular duties in a short span of time.
