BJP state secretary Bhanu Prakash Reddy says PM Modi is keen on completing the Polavaram Project

The Congress has no moral right to comment on the BJP as it was rooted out in the state in last elections, he added. Speaking to media here on Saturday, Bhanu Prakash Reddy slammed the Opposition parties for making false and baseless allegations against BJP to get mileage.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to the development of Andhra Pradesh and the Centre is very particular about completing the Polavaram project under any circumstances as the TDP government failed to utilise the Central funds in a proper manner and resorting to make irrelevant comments against PM to defend its failures.

Reddy made it clear there was need to create awareness among people over the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi particularly in respect of promoting the welfare of poor and downtrodden communities. The state BJP chief has given a road map to strengthen the party from grass-root level, he added.

He said the BJP would contest for all the seats in the state without having any alliance with other parties. He reiterated that the TDP government has failed to protect the interests of the state right from the beginning. District BJP leaders G Hari Prasad, Devendra and Srinivasulu were present.
