Divis padayatra on Vanam - Manam
Divis Laboratories Limited, as a part of its VanamManam programme, organised a fivekm long padayatra in the vicinity of the company on Sunday
Visakhapatnam: Divis Laboratories Limited, as a part of its Vanam-Manam programme, organised a five-km long padayatra in the vicinity of the company on Sunday. The theme of the padayatra is ‘Mana Chettu-Mana Pranam’ (our tree-our life) and ‘Plant Tree-Ensure Development.’ Over 1,000 Divis employees and hundreds of locals from the surrounding villages were present in the padayatra.
The padayatra was started after planting saplings at Oldmoolakuddu village. Director of Divis Laboratories Divi Madhusudan Rao flagged off the padayatra. Speaking on the occasion, Madhusudan Rao said that the company’s Managing Director Murali Krishna called upon the employees of Divis to participate in the Vanam-Manam programme for a healthy environment in society. APPCB officials Mukund and Subhang, Divis officials Balaji, Prasad, Chandrasekhar, Suresh Kumar, Devendar Rao, Ramakrishna, YS Koteswara Rao and IS Nagaraju were present.
