Tirumala: The processional deity of Sri Malayappa Swamy was taken ride on Garuda Vahanam on the occasion of Garuda Panchami on Thursday evening.
Lord Sri Malayappa Swamy placed on Garuda Vahanam was taken in a procession in the four mada streets enthralling devotees gathered in large number to witness the religious event celebrated on the occasion of birthday of Garuda also known as Peria Thiruvadi.
Tirumala JEO KS Srinivasa Raju, TTD Trust Board member Sudha Narayanamurthy, temple officials and large number of devotees took part in this event.
