Funds to construct 48 school compound walls released by West Godavari District Collector K Bhaskar
West Godavari District Collector K Bhaskar has announced that he had sanctioned funds for construction of compound wall for 48 schools in the district
Eluru: West Godavari District Collector K Bhaskar has announced that he had sanctioned funds for construction of compound wall for 48 schools in the district.
He convened a review meeting on education progress with district educational officers here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, he informed the gathering that compound walls would be constructed in a phased manner. Those mandals which showed progress in works with earlier funding would be given priority.
The mandal authorities should try to finish works at a brisk pace with competitive spirit. Playgrounds and other infrastructure development should be completed within a week.
He asked the mandal educational officers to speed up construction of studio for conducting digital classes. He said failure to build studios would make the digital class equipment useless.
Keeping this in mind, the officials should complete the works on a war-footing. The special classes intended for the students lagging behind in particular lessons should me made easy for better understanding of the students, he added.
