Workshop on English on Aug 21 at KBN College in Vijayawada
The English department of KBN College will organise a national workshop on English on the topic Meeting Curriculum and Corporate Goals
Vijayawada: The English department of KBN College will organise a national workshop on English on the topic ‘Meeting Curriculum and Corporate Goals’.
The workshop will be organised in collaboration with UGC and with the support of Krishna University on the college premises on August 21, according to college president V Hemachandra Rao here on Sunday.
A poster was launched on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Hemachandra stressed the need to develop English communication skills among students.
He said eminent personalities would speak at the workshop on the importance of English in higher education, changes in the education system and action plan.
He said that techniques to build communication in English will also be a key point in the workshop, he added.
He said that Krishna University registrar Pulipati King would be the guest. The resource persons on the occasion would be professors from Hyderabad English and Foreign Languages University, said Hemachandra.
Principal V Narayana Rao said that the main aim to organising the workshop was to improve freedom of expression and other skills related to English related languages.
The college vice-principal E Varaprasad, director PL Ramesh and others were present.
